The McDonald’s Restaurant at the corner of West Yosemite and Union Road presented a show of respect for Manteca Police officers and the “thin blue line” that trumpets a big thank you for the men and women in blue that serve and protect the community.

McDonald’s of has already hung blue lights on the outside of 29 restaurants throughout San Joaquin, Sacramento and Amador countries. The Beacon of Blue honors the lives of the late and current law enforcement officers and promotes peace in those communities.

By giving the first 100 guests a blue light, McDonald’s of Galt and the Galt Police Department hope to see blue lights shine outside businesses and households in the Galt area to show the Galt PD that the community supports them.
